K2 and Roadkill trek cautiously across icy puddles to Starbucks, reminiscing en route about long-ago favorite restaurants ("formerly Coyote Taco, before that Taco Amigo" and "where Asian Corner used to be, now El Tio", etc.). Blister, hip, and mystery foot bump are all getting better. We reverse the route taken a few days ago.
